What is IV Chelation Therapy?

Calcium EDTA (Calcitetracemate Ethylenediaminetetraacetate), a chemical chelator, is rapidly infused into the body via an IV Push. Once in the blood stream, it chelates or binds together ions of heavy metals (such as lead, mercury, cadmium, aluminum, iron, and copper) and exchanges them with calcium.
